FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — Incumbent Fall River Mayor Paul Coogan has won a narrow reelection victory, according to unofficial results. Coogan received 50.7% of the vote to defeat challenger Grabriel "Boomer" Amaral, who got 48.7%. The mayor edged his opponent by only 225 votes out of over 11,000 ballots cast.
