Northern Rivers Rail Trail clean-up underway

Clean-up efforts are underway along the Northern Rivers Rail Trail following the destruction wrought by Tropical Cyclone Alfred in early March.   Works commenced 28 April along the 24km Murwillumbah to Crabbes Creek stretch, with vehicles including excavators and removal trucks working to remove large fallen branches and shredded vegetation on and around the trail.    They will remain in place for approximately four weeks.    While the popular t…
