To address the long-standing flooding problem in Wanshan Township's Dongshan Road, along County Road 185, and in the areas surrounding the Wularuz Tribe and Wanjin Camp, the Pingtung County Government has actively sought NT$292 million in central government funding to promote two drainage improvement projects. Construction began recently and is expected to be completed by the end of next year (2026).
