On Wednesday, the Congress of Deputies approved a royal decree law to provide the ELA with 500 million euros and to strengthen the System for Autonomy and Care of the Unit (SAAD), a text that provides for a benefit of up to 10,000 euros per month per patient with ALS and other serious neurological diseases in the advanced phase, as well as a 24-hour care.
