Sen. Michael Bennet has added his to the voices in opposition of a second Colorado location of Texas travel chain Buc-ee's that would need an annexation of the town of Palmer Lake. The candidate for governor said that the proposed super-sized gas station and store on the El Paso-Douglas county line would disrupt the Greenland Ranch conservation easement, which protects a historic ranch in neighboring Douglas County from development.
