- As part of its reintroduction program, CPW translocated 15 wolves from British Columbia in January, leading to new dens formed naturally this spring.
- According to Eric Odell, counting pups is 'extremely difficult' this time of year, but at least four pups have been spotted with the King Mountain Pack.
- The Middle Park Stockgrowers Association urged lethal removal, while Colorado Parks and Wildlife said it will monitor the situation closely.
