Faith and familiarity drew Maggie Kayt Franks to Hillsdale College. The former Spring Valley High School and Shawnee State University swimmer accepted a job as an assistant swim and dive coach Aug. 17 at the Christian school in Michigan. Her familiarity with Chargers head coach Kurt Kirner sparked Franks to leave Albion College, where she coached last season. Albion is about 30 miles north of Hillsdale.
