On Thursday afternoon, two teenagers from Brussels were rescued from drowning on the beach of the Belgian coastal town of Blankenberge. The duo went into the sea with about twenty other young people during a school trip at an area where swimming is currently prohibited. "If we hadn't been there, five or seven people would have drowned," says one of the lifeguards, Tom Cocle.
