CoinMarketCap Acquires Coinglass, Bringing Crypto Derivatives Data to the World's Most-Referenced Crypto Price Tracker
Hong Kong, Sept. 25, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CoinMarketCap, the world's most-referenced price-tracking website for cryptoassets, today announced that it has acquired Coinglass, the crypto derivatives data platform traders use to track open interest, funding rates, liquidations and options across the major exchanges. The transaction has been completed. Financial terms were not disclosed.
CoinMarketCap, which tracks cryptocurrency prices, has acquired CoinGlass, a company known for its derivatives market data. The deal brings price tracking and leveraged trading data together under one roof, while CoinGlass will retain its existing brand.
CoinMarketCap acquired CoinGlass for an undisclosed amount to add derivative data to its offer of cryptocurrency information. According to the announcement, CoinGlass will maintain its brand, equipment, tools, API and prices, while integration will offer metric users as open interest, anchoring fees and settlement.
