CMF Publishes New Public Standard Consultation on Minimum Assets Requirements for Securities Brokers and Product Brokers

The Commission for the Financial Market (CMF) today launched a new process of public consultation on the regulation that sets minimum equity requirements, guarantees, liquidity conditions and indebtedness for Stock Exchange Intermediaries and Product Brokers. The proposal introduces a risk-weighted asset-based approach, aligned with international best practices in this area.
