LANETT – At the Monday meeting of the Lanett City Council, Mayor Jamie Heard gave formal notice of a municipal election to be taking place on Tuesday, August 26. Offices on the ballot include mayor, five seats on the city council and five seats on the city school board. Voting will be taking place in the L.B.
