CIEE BridgeUSA Celebration Tour To Highlight How International Exchange Makes America Safer, Stronger, and More Prosperous

CIEE will launch a summerlong celebration from June 8-11 in Ohio and Kentucky to recognize leading employers who host participants in the BridgeUSA program.
This celebration follows CIEE's 75 years of supporting over one million student exchanges from more than 140 countries through U.S. Department of State's BridgeUSA programs.
BridgeUSA facilitates opportunities for international college students to spend their summer working in the United States, supporting businesses in extending their busy seasons and contributing to the economic and cultural vitality of local communities.
James P. Pellow, CEO of CIEE, described the BridgeUSA exchange programs as an exemplary government initiative that contributes significantly to the safety, strength, and prosperity of the United States.
The program injects over $1.2 billion annually into the U.S. Economy, enables businesses to remain open 30-45 days longer, fosters cultural exchange, and strengthens America's public diplomacy.
