CHICO — At age 7, Humberto Partida wanted to be a priest. While this passion stuck with him, his father encouraged him to get an education. Now, 23-years-old with a master’s degree from Chico State, he’s ready for seminary. “Vocation is a big word that we use as Catholics,” Partida said. “Vocation comes from the Latin word vocāre, which means a calling.
