After helping Cherry Creek to the Class 5A state baseball championship, senior Connor Larkin on Tuesday was named the Gatorade Colorado Baseball Player of the Year. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound first baseman, outfielder and pitcher had big numbers at the plate, batting .457 with 11 home runs, 37 RBIs and 20 stolen bases.
