In just a few years, a European Union (EU) regulation will come into effect that will further reduce the use of plastic. Hotels will no longer have small plastic bottles, restaurants will no longer have plastic containers for sauces or cream. Airports will be prohibited from providing a service of wrapping luggage in plastic film. Businesses say they are already preparing for this.
