Kela is taking a digital leap. The goal is to save six million euros. The Finnish Social Insurance Institution, or Kela, will start sending notifications to Suomi.fi messages starting Thursday, according to a press release. In the future, Kela customers will receive information about a new decision or letter via the service if they have adopted Suomi.fi messages and given up paper mail in the Omakela service.
