VERBANIA – The Carabinieri of the Verbania provincial command have imposed fines totaling €15,000 during extraordinary inspections of vacation rentals in Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta, and the Ossola area in recent weeks. The inspections, which involved dozens of apartments not only in the main tourist destinations but also in the province's more remote villages, revealed several administrative and security deficiencies.
