Sergeant Avishai Yitzhak Toil, 35, of Dimona, was killed in a car accident on Highway 25, while operating as part of an operational activity with the National Traffic Police. • Toil left behind a mother and two sisters. • A 14-year-old boy was killed in the serious accident, and a 30-year-old woman was seriously injured.
At around 1:00 AM, an MDA team was called to the scene of the accident where two vehicles, a private car and a police car, collided on Highway 25 near the settlement of Segev Shalom; the three injured were evacuated to Soroka Hospital and the deaths of the two were later determined.

In an accident between 2 vehicles on Highway 25 near Segev Shalom, a 14-year-old boy and a 40-year-old man were critically injured and were evacuated to the hospital while undergoing CPR. Rescue forces rushed to the scene rescued the man and another woman who was seriously injured. An MDA paramedic said: "This is a very serious traffic accident - in parallel with the rescue operations, we performed CPR."
