Indian filmmaker Payal Kapadia, who won the historic Grand Prix for 'All We Imagine As Light', has joined Cannes 2025 as a jury member. Halle Berry, Jeremy Strong and several others are part of the jury.
After Greta Gerwig, Juliette Binoche was chosen to chair the jury of the 78th Cannes Festival. On Monday 28 April, the artists who will accompany her on the Croisette were revealed.
The jury, composed of nine members, will award the Golden Palm of the 78th edition of the Festival, which will take place from 13 to 24 May.
The American actress Halle Berry, the Franco-Moroccan writer Leïla Slimani and the South Korean filmmaker Hong Sangsoo are part of the jury of the next Cannes festival, chaired by French actress Juliette Binoche. The jury will award the Palme d'or to one of the 21 films in Competition, after Sean Baker's "Anora" in 2024.
