A car is driving through the countryside, passing two cyclists. It gradually slows down and slowly passes them. This is one of the situations in the set of questions for driving schools, which will be valid from September 21. Applicants for a driving license will have to answer, among other things, whether the driver drove at a sufficient distance from the cyclists and whether or not he used the turn signal correctly.
Learning to drive is no longer just about cramming for tests. The Ministry of Transport is introducing another wave of changes that are intended to turn driving schools into a place of real preparation for driving.

In the second half of September, the ministry plans to introduce a new set of questions for final tests in driving schools. They will be based on a video that is supposed to simulate real traffic, not on text. The questions will include risky traffic situations, such as cyclists in traffic. The new set includes twenty-four questions, and the ČT24 website is bringing five of them for you to try out.
Currently, the complete set of tests for the final driving license exam contains over 1,100 questions. The goal is to get to at least 1,500, which is the standard applied, for example, in Germany.
