Cameron County beaches reopen after high tide alert
SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Cameron County Judge Eddie Trevino Jr. announced Thursday morning that all county beaches have reopened to the public following a high tide warning. Four county beaches were closed all day on Wednesday due to the high tide and for public safety. The beaches reopened at 10 a.m. on Thursday. Visitors are asked to be cautious on all beaches and to follow the beach flag warning system.
