Scientists warn the government about the excessive absorption of cadmium by the French. It is a heavy carcinogen metal present in phosphate fertilizers used in agriculture, and therefore in products consumed daily, such as cereals, bread and potatoes. This situation is all the more worrying since it affects children in the first place.
