The Church is becoming very present at COP30, the 30th UN Conference on Climate Change, which is being held from 6 to 21 September.
In the framework of COP30, the panel “Social-Environmental Dialogue for Peace: Adaptation and Just Transition” was held, a space that brought together representatives of the Catholic Church, the private sector, specialists in integral ecology and delegations from local communities to discuss the current challenges and the need to strengthen listening among historically disconnected actors.
