BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. (WSPA)- It's the 48th year anniversary for a sweet festival in Black Mountain this weekend.  The Sourwood Festival is named for sourwood honey, an Appalachian honey made from the sourwood tree blossoms. The festival kicks off the summer’s honey-selling season, with plenty of honey vendors, beekeeping demos, and live bees on display.
