Southeastern Community College is giving the organization that operates the annual Snowbull indoor rodeo a one-year contract to host the event at the outdoor arena at SCC in 2027.

Burlington’s annual Snowbull indoor rodeo will move to Southeastern Community College in 2027. Des Moines County Supervisor Jim Cary says SCC has awarded the organization a one-year contract to hold the event at its outdoor arena, with the possibility of a longer-term agreement. Snowbull has been held at Burlington Memorial Auditorium since 1993, but the 2027 event will move from its traditional March weekend to May.
