Three judges of the investigating chamber, one lawyer and two editors were abducted during the weekend of 10-13 October 2025 in Ouagadougou, according to consistent information. The disappearances began on Friday with the abduction of Judge MEDA Urbain. On Saturday it was Judge Seydou otherwise who was reported missing.
