A Buna High School student was taken into custody Tuesday morning after school officials discovered a large knife and several vapes in the student's vehicle.

Student in possession of knife at T.C. Martin Elementary School

On April 29 at 3:42 p.m., at school dismissal, school administrators at T.C. Martin Elementary School were made aware that a student was in possession of a knife, which was in their pocket. The knife was recovered, and the student was given consequences from the Charles County Public Schools for violating the Code of Student Conduct. The school resource officer (SRO) was notified.
