The PC and the Broad Front, in addition to the deputy Carlos Bianchi (indep. associated with the PPD), asked the minister to postpone the validity of the tax reduction. The government’s problem is that the request for greater public debt, contained in the Budget Law, gives the opposition bloc an effective tool to pressure, since it requires an absolute majority (qualified quorum) to be approved.
