EUGENE, Oregon (KMID/KPEJ) - The Midland High graduate, Bryce Hoppel, finished first place in the first round of the Men's 800-meter at the 2025 Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships. Hoppel finished with a time of 1:45:69, winning not only his heat, but also defeating the other 31 runners. EUGENE – The first day of the USATF Championships at Hayward Field had six Razorbacks advancing to the next round of their respective events while Arkansas alum Taliyah Brooks is currently in second place in the heptathlon.
