SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon near the Wildwood Village development in Shallotte. According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of gunfire around 1:00 p.m. in the area of Wildwood Street and East Coast Avenue. No injuries were reported.
