Bruce Power’s Unit 2 removed from service

February 14, 2025 – Bruce Power’s Unit 2 was proactively removed from service on Feb. 13 due to a high volume of fish (gizzard shad) in the Bruce A intake channel. The Bruce A Operations team made the conservative decision to remove Unit 2 from service while mitigation measures are being implemented.
