Christopher Murray, aged 50, lived moments of terror on September 30, while he was nowhere near the Canal Catalina, on the coast of Los Angeles. The athlete was attacked by two large white tubes during a night trip, part of the training to win the name “Triplice Cora of the Natation in Open Waters”, which includes the Canal of Mancha and the return to Manhattan Island.
