BP has started production at an oil field in the British sector of the North Sea. According to the company, the Murlach field is the sixth project to begin production this year. Murlach, located approximately 200 kilometers off the coast of Aberdeen, Scotland, will produce approximately 15,000 barrels of oil daily at peak output.
