Boy who stabbed Harvey Willgoose to death in school lunch break to be sentenced

This week at Sheffield Crown Court the 15-year-old who killed fellow pupil Harvey Willgoose is due to be sentenced after the fatal stabbing at All Saints Catholic High School on February 3.
After a January 29 incident, Harvey Willgoose, 15, and the defendant fell out when a teacher restrained the defendant, and a lockdown followed after the defendant said one pupil had a knife, though police found none.
CCTV and school-staff testimony formed the core of the evidence presented to jurors, showing the defendant stabbing Harvey twice just after the lunch break at 12.10pm.
Harvey's family said the death has devastated them and has rippled across the country, and the Willgoose family campaign for knife-arches in schools, with Sophie Willgoose speaking outside court.
The defence told jurors the defendant `snapped` after years of bullying and fear, and the boy said he carried a knife for protection, while Morgan Davis removed the knife after hearing worrying remarks.
