Bovenschulte at "Hart but fair" - Public debt is declared "Arrival in reality"

The total public budget in the non-public sector was €2,509.0 billion in debt at the end of 2024. As the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) announced on Wednesday based on preliminary results, public debt thus increased by 2.6 percent, or €63.9 billion, compared to the end of 2023.
