Bond denied for man charged with murdering woman at Oakland Park business

One person connected to a shooting outside a gentlemen’s club in West Park was arrested Saturday morning, deputies said. According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, deputies received reports of a shooting that happened outside the Playhouse Gentlemen’s Club. Deputies said that a suspect was taken into custody. He was identified as 28-year-old Akheem Omarie Mahabie. No injuries were reported. An investigation into the shooting remains active.
