The initiative promoted by Bolivia and Venezuela was approved by the General Assembly of the United Nations, generating praise from Arce, Choquehuanca and the Foreign Ministry.The Bolivian Government welcomed the adoption by the UN General Assembly of a resolution that recognizes Wiphala as an expression of cultural values linked to Vivir Bien and harmony with Mother Earth. The proposal was jointly promoted by Bolivia and Venezuela.

Vice President David Choquehuanca published the resolution along with the message: “Jallalla la Wiphala! Jallalla la Diplomación de los Pueblos!”
