Smiths Falls police are investigating after a body was discovered along the shoreline of the Rideau Canal on Queen Street Tuesday afternoon. Police said officers were called to the shoreline along Queen Street at about 2:50 p.m. on July 7 after boaters discovered a body near the shore.
