Unloaded Weapon Confiscated at South Elementary
A student allegedly brought an unloaded weapon to South Elementary Friday. According to a social media message posted by Superintendent Dr. Richie Leeker, district staff immediately confiscated the weapon and notified law enforcement after learning from another student it was there. No one was hurt, and law enforcement took possession of the unloaded gun.
