Hockey star then hockey coach Dale Hewitt enters North Bay Sports Hall of Fame
Dale Hewitt grew up in North Bay playing hockey in the winter and baseball in the summer. Moving on to Ecole Secondaire Algonquin, his passion for sport not only grew, but saw him shine in his number one love; hockey. While at Algonquin, Dale was the top scorer for two seasons and led the league in scoring in 1976 and was subsequently named league MVP that year.
