UBS reports a 34% increase in new billionaire heirs in 2025, with $298 billion inherited and $5.9 trillion expected to transfer over 15 years amid wealth mobility trends.
- On Dec 4, UBS published its Billionaire Ambitions Report, saying 91 people inherited wealth totaling $298 billion in the 12 months to April.
- Drawing on client surveys and a 47-market database, UBS executive Benjamin Cavalli said the report forecasts $5.9 trillion to be inherited by billionaire children over the next 15 years.
