Betharram case: Prime Minister François Bayrou heard in May by the commission of inquiry
French Prime Minister François Bayrou will be heard by a parliamentary commission of inquiry, about the scandal of sexual assaults in the Catholic college-lycée Notre-Dame de Bétharram, announced on Thursday 10 April the commission. Former Minister of National Education at the time of the facts and reports, he is accused of having wanted to stifle the case. He claims that he was not aware of the scandal, while his wife was teaching there.
