Wine tourism in Alavés shines internationally after the award of the prestigious Best Of Wine Tourism 2026 awards, which recognize excellence in innovation, sustainability and hospitality in the wine world. The ceremony took place at Bodegas Bilbaínas, in Haro, bringing together more than 200 professionals from the Álava, Bizkaia and La Rioja sectors.
The Legacy of Bodegas Faustino, Hotel Viura, Palacios Vinos de Finca-Nivarian-Proelio, Restaurant Las Lías de Bilbao, Hostería de Los Parajes, Brittany Ferries and Bodegas Ramón Bilbao have received on Wednesday the Best Of Wine Tourism 2026 of the Bilbao-Rioja Committee, which grants the World Network of Great Wine Capitals (GWC).
