- The ScreenBar Halo 2 incorporates an advanced dual-light setup that illuminates both the front and back, featuring a segmented backlight system that increases coverage over fourfold to minimize the contrast between the monitor and surrounding environment, helping to alleviate eye strain.
- BenQ's ASYM-Light front light incorporates an asymmetrical optical design featuring an 18-degree cut-off angle to reduce screen glare and prevent direct light exposure to the eyes. Its development was guided by a study conducted in partnership with a leading Taiwanese technical university, highlighting the importance of balanced surrounding lighting and an ANSI-recommended luminance ratio below 3:1 for enhanced eye comfort.
- BenQ included smart features like auto-dimming, revamped brightness and color temperature controls, and initiated a global giveaway of 50 free units via the #ElevatewithHalo campaign to promote user experience and workspace comfort.
