Benin and IMF reach agreement to release more than CFAF 66 billion in loans

A delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) completed on Saturday 12 April a mission to evaluate two ongoing programmes with Benin. IMF experts visited Cotonou for ten days, met with the Minister of State responsible for the Economy, his teams, other members of the government and financial actors. Under an agreement on two credit programmes, Benin will benefit from a disbursement of more than CFAF 66 billion by June.
