- The Off Weeks was greenlit following Stiller’s involvement as executive producer and director on Severance, which became Apple’s most popular original series after two acclaimed seasons.
- The series, created and showrun by Alissa Nutting and directed by Michael Showalter, follows Stiller as writing professor Gus Adler struggling with divorce and a romance with Chastain’s character Stella West.
