Belfast food pantry expands as need continues to grow

An anonymous $850,000 donation funded a grocery-style pantry serving over 300 families weekly, addressing rising food insecurity in Waldo County, officials said.

The Belfast Soup Kitchen has expanded its food pantry operations into a new building, and launched a larger version of its Kindness Community Market on Wednesday.
