- Reinger, who joined the BBC in 1992 and started as a newsroom assistant at BBC Radio Nottingham, felt it was the 'right time to go' after a career that also included presenting weather bulletins for six BBC Local Radio stations.
- During her tenure at BBC Look East and local radio, Reinger worked both on screen and on the radio, bringing viewers and listeners their local forecast and guiding them through various weather conditions.
- Reinger described her time at the BBC as immensely important and 'very special,' stating, 'It hasn't been an easy decision to leave my Look East and local radio family, but it feels like this is the right time to go,' and adding, 'It has been a privilege to bring our viewers and listeners their local forecast for so many years.'
- Robert Thompson, BBC senior head of content production for the east, noted that Reinger has been 'bringing sunshine to BBC Look East' and guiding everyone through rocky weather, with the BBC expressing that they will miss her brightening their airwaves and wishing her luck for the future.
