Baseball roundup: Thunder Hawks bounce back, reach 3AA championship

MARSHALL — The Montevideo baseball team is headed back to the Section 3AA championship. After losing to Luverne in the semifinals on Monday, the Thunder Hawks climbed out of the elimination bracket and into the section title game with a 5-2 victory over Windom on Wednesday at Legion Field. The Thunder Hawks are the defending section champs but have some work to do to go back to state. Montevideo plays Luverne at 5 p.m. Thursday back at Marshall.…
