The General Secretary of the CGT, Sophie Binet, visited BDR Thermea on Thursday 5 June to support the employees present on the spot after the announcement of the abolition of 320 jobs on the Alsatian site. She called for the "continuation of the struggle for employment" and the mobilization of elected representatives of the territory.
In the Bas-Rhin, a factory will abolish 320 posts by 2027 in the municipality of Mertzwiller. Supported by the population, the unions protest against this decision.
